DISTINCTIONS:Narrow, leathery leaves are rust colored on the underside; fragrant white or pinkish flower clusters are conspicuous in summer; grows in wet soils.
LIMITATIONS:Open growth habit unless pruned occasionally.
HARDINESS:INT, SC, SE, W (Zone 1)
ORIGIN:Most of Alaska except parts of southeast, Canada, Northern Europe, Asia, Greenland.
