LIMITATIONS:Unpleasant flower odor; marginally hardy in Zone 4; plants grown on their own roots are the most hardy.
HARDINESS:SC, SE (Zone 4)
ORIGIN:Western Asia
CULTIVARS:‘Hazeldean’ fragrant, yellow blooms.; ‘Bicolor’ Austrian Copper Rose, Austrian Briar; red or coppery-red single flowers; some plants have survived in INT.; ‘Persiana’ Persian Double Yellow Rose; double yellow flowers.
