DISTINCTIONS:Striking gray-blue leaves; pinkish-rose flowers; bright red fruit; stems and leaves have bluish downy hairs.
LIMITATIONS:More difficult to transplant than other honeysuckles.
HARDINESS:SC, SE (Zone 4)
ORIGIN:Central Asia, parts of Afghanistan and Pakistan
CULTIVARS:‘Freedom’ blue green foliage; white flowers; so named because it is supposed to be ‘free’ from aphids.
