HEIGHT:20 - 30 feet
SPREAD:10 - 20 feet
DISTINCTIONS:Low shrubby tree; straight trunk when young becoming irregular with age; variable shape due to seed source; needles 2" long in clusters of two; cones point backward toward trunk; tolerates boggy soil; needs full sun.
LIMITATIONS:Native species more available as seed than as a plant.
HARDINESS:SE (Zone 7)
ORIGIN:Southeast Alaska through western British Columbia to northwest California. The coastal subspecies of lodgepole pine.
