DISTINCTIONS:Ornamental; light bluish needles; dense conical habit, almost spire-like with ascending branches; long-lived and slow growing.
LIMITATIONS:Difficult to transplant; loses lower limbs with age.
HARDINESS:SC, SE (Zone 3)
ORIGIN:British Columbia, Alberta, Oregon, Arizona and New Mexico.
