DISTINCTIONS:Tree form is long-lived species; needles in clusters of 5; needles 2"–2.5" long; edible pine nuts; prefers well-drained soils.
LIMITATIONS:
HARDINESS: SC, SE (Zone 3)
ORIGIN: Mountains of western United States and Canada
CULTIVARS:‘Nana’ Dwarf upright form, sparse foliage; 5' high by 3' wide; grows 4"-6" per year.
