DISTINCTIONS:Dense, compact, rounded habit; clusters of creamy white flowers; red fruit considered inedible.
LIMITATIONS:Aphids plague some of the viburnums.
HARDINESS:SC, SE (Zone 3)
ORIGIN:Europe, northern Asia and Africa
CULTIVARS:‘Compactum’ dwarf; grows to 4' tall; showy fruit and flowers; maroon fall leaf color.; ‘Nanum’ dwarf; rarely flowers or fruits; very compact 2'-5' in height; does not tolerate poorly drained soil.
