DISTINCTIONS:Small tree developed for its edible fruit; hybrid of mountainash and hawthorn; dark red fruit, the size of a pie cherry, can be eaten fresh or used to make preserves; glossy dark green foliage looks like cross between the two.
LIMITATIONS:Partially self-fruitful but plant two for pollination.
HARDINESS:SC, SE (Zone 2)
ORIGIN:Inter-specific hybrid from Europe
