SPREAD:25 - 35 feet
DISTINCTIONS:Upright rounded canopy; beautiful coppery bark, sometimes peeling; clusters of white flowers in spring; grows in sun or part shade; grows fast.
LIMITATIONS:Susceptible to black knot disease; require a well-drained soil; northern grown plants survive best in INT. Poor form and rapid growth often lead to structural failure. Prune for good form and strong central leader when tree is young.
