ORIGIN:Europe and southwest Asia
CULTIVARS:‘Evans’ (‘Bali’) grows to 15' with low spreading crown of 10'; can produce large quantities of cherries; ‘Meteor’ sour, oval-shaped, red fruit.; ‘Montmorency’ large, sour, dark red fruit.; ‘North Star’ dwarf form; self-pollinating; bright red fruit darkens with age.
