SPREAD:15 - 30 feet
DISTINCTIONS:Needles curve upward and outward. Soft, flat, bluish needles; symmetrical, conical habit; tolerates dry, poor soil.
LIMITATIONS:Prefers full sun but will tolerate light shade; growth will be sparse and open in the shade.
HARDINESS:SC, SE (Zone 3)
ORIGIN:Southwest United States to northern Mexico.
CULTIVARS:‘Candicans’ bright silvery-blue needles; narrow form.
