DISTINCTIONS:Soft green needles; golden fall color; needles are shed in fall; round cones; conical habit.
LIMITATIONS:Doesn't do well in cultivation in SC, best in its native habitat; requires moist, acid soil and full sun.
HARDINESS:INT, SC, SE (Zone 1)
ORIGIN:Alaskan Arctic Circle to Canada, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Illinois
