DISTINCTIONS:Spreading, irregular habit; silvery leaves; strongly fragrant, small, yellow bell-shaped flowers in spring; tasteless, silver berries in the fall; twigs are rusty brown when young and become silvery with age.
LIMITATIONS:Spreads, forming thickets.
HARDINESS:INT, SC, SE, W (Zone 2)
ORIGIN:Central Alaska to Quebec; Minnesota west to Washington. Locally in some eastern states and Texas
