HEIGHT:50 - 80 feet
SPREAD:40 - 50 feet
DISTINCTIONS:Upright and conical when young, spreading with age; dark green needles have a bluish cast; needles in clusters of 5, 9" long; tolerates wet soil for a short period of time; full sun.
LIMITATIONS:Differences in nursery grown trees related to origin of seed. References say Zone 5 but 15' trees in Zone 3 in Alaska show no winter damage.
HARDINESS:SC, SE ( Zone 4-5)
ORIGIN:Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Tibet, Nepal, Bhutan, Myanmar.
