DISTINCTIONS:Rounded form; showy bark is flakey brown to reddish brown; yellow fall color; may have multiple trunks.
LIMITATIONS:Susceptible to birch borer. Rarely available from nurseries.
ORIGIN:Manchuria, northern China, Korea
