DISTINCTIONS:Small oval tree with low branching or multi-stemmed form with beautiful cinnamon-red exfoliating bark; blue-green trifoliate leaves turn red in autumn; good winter aesthetics; tolerant of acid or alkaline soils with good drainage; good specimen tree or used in mass.
LIMITATIONS:Difficult to propagate.
HARDINESS:SE (Zone 4)
